Jon Thomsen

President & CEO of Ecos and Executive Vice President of Advantage IQ

In conjunction with overseeing the day-to-day management of Ecos, Jon also leads the Professional Services team for Advantage IQ.

Prior to being named Ecos President and CEO, Jon was Corporate Development Officer (CDO) of Ecos, overseeing the alignment of strategic planning and the corporate development activities. Jon also managed the launch of the Business Solutions division of Ecos, focusing on environmental sustainability advisory and carbon mitigation activities. Prior to his position as CDO, Jon was the Vice President of the Ecos Utility Solutions division, where he managed the strategy and operations and was responsible for delivering energy efficiency products and services to the utility sector.

Jon has a solid business background in operations, strategy and finance, having held senior executive positions at successful startup organizations and at Fortune 500 corporations. In addition to Jon’s role as president, he serves on the Ecos board. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in economics from Willamette University.
